Meet The Founder

Founder
After being an athlete for most of my life, I avoided any form of movement when I stopped sports. My journey back to fitness began in 2018, and I felt great. The journey was not easy, but I loved it. After my workouts, I was so sore, and through research, I realized stretching helped with recovery. I immediately tapped into my background in ballet, gymnastics, and cheerleading to help. Yet, something was missing; the last piece of the puzzle was consciousness and mental awareness. This element brought yoga into my life. The combination of movement, strength training, and mental awareness equaled a better me.
As I began to align my posture, my body aches subsided, and I felt better mentally, I wanted to teach my method to others. I started with my friends, and it soon expanded to my community. Without a name for my teachings, I called them "Unorthodox Yogi." The positive feedback I received drove me to seek more education in my field, leading me to earn my Yoga Teacher Training certificate.
My mission is to spread awareness about body yoga, strength training, mobility, and flexibility.
